Coming Soon....Online Sales

Well...everyone has been asking so perhaps its time we finally do this. We will have our t-shirts and that kind of stuff for sale online very soon, but we will also be posting images and prices of new and random items from the shop on this site ...and they will be available for sale. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

  5. Have always loved odd things, when I was very young ( 9ish) went to Atlantic City and saw a shrunkenhead in the window of a Pawn shop, wanted it real bad

  6. Came on here specifically in hopes of finding your items for sale online, looking forward to the store!

  8. That's awesome! I would love to visit the store but unfortunately I'm nowhere near New York and it isn't in the cards to make a special trip. I'll be just as happy to see it virtually!

  12. I was just watching your show. I love the shops collection. It would be great if things were for sale to us online...not just t-shirts and items like that.
I'm really interested in finding a human skull and old Tarot card decks for my own collection.

  15. just bout to ask whn u were goin to sell ur great stuff online.cant wait! steve mesa az

  16. I came online hoping to find that you had a site where I could see and actually buy the things I saw on the TV show. I am so thrilled that this will soon be a reality!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hope you also will sell international! Love to own some things but I live in Europe

    ReplyDelete
  18. If it's too difficult to post your entire inventory, I love what Erie Basin does. The guy just posts 12 items for sale, changes it up every once in a while. His brick and mortar shop obviously sells a lot more items than that, but it keeps a manageable internet sales presence that I really like the idea of! (http://eriebasin.com/shop.html)

  19. Well, I am delighted to see that you may begin selling online! I simply love your new reality show and Evan and Mike, Ryan and Ersan even, are very charming on tv! Thanks for the entertainment!!

  20. caught me up in this cant get enough now

  21. do you still have i think its a leg plaque that was on the wall?

    ReplyDelete
  22. My only issue is that when folks sell items they get a really low-ball price but then when the item is resold, the price is doubled or tripled. I would be upset to see the show and feel like I got shafted. (example- the mortuary table for the model or the bruxism machine- and who spends that kind of money on their dentist???) I know it's New York but it seems kind of greedy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. To: lucyricardo1950, I actually thought their resale value was kinda low. If you pay $250 for something & charge someone else $500, the shop only made $250... there were 2 employees searching random locations for a mortuary table, not to mention the leg work & phone calls that had to go into it behind the scenes... just getting around to the different spots to check out the tables would cost $100 in cab fare alone.

  24. Thats the thing with wholesale vs. retail. If you actually knew what every shop or restaurant bought their items for vs. what they sell them for, it might bother you. We try to be as fair as we can, and still pay the rent , bills, utilities and all of the overhead, which can get quite expensive, plus make enough to live on. But that is the way everything works. I know people that will offer someone a very small fraction of what they will resell an item for...like paying $25 and selling for $5000. We just dont do that. Selling for double or triple what you pay is fairly standard.

  25. I am going to have to agree with Obscura. I am an artist and have worked at art galleries and it is the same thing. An artist can sell their stuff cheaper, but when it is sold in an actual brick and mortar gallery. The price is doubled because the gallery take half the amount of the sale. They are bringing in and finding the customers though, and they have to pay their employees, the rent and overhead. They have to make money too. So it makes sense.

  26. Can't wait to you get the online sells set up I want to buy something from youre store But living in Alabama it is a bit of a drive

    ReplyDelete
  27. hurry up and start selling items. my money is burning a hole in my eye

    ReplyDelete
  28. I saw the show for the first time yesterday. It was wonderful to find out there are so many people with the same likes as me. I live in rural America and everyone here thinks I am crazy when I get excited over finding a mummified cat in the attic of my garage. Great show. Can't wait till you start selling online.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Do y'all have antique occult, witchcraft or satanic books?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Pace the post above complaining about the markup, I'm consistently surprised by how cheaply Obscura sells its wares on the show. Great work, guys, and I can't wait to browse electronically!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Can't wait for you guys to go online with your stuff!

    Love the show!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. I can't wait! I am itching to get my hands on something :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Im glad you will start selling online, I wish nothing but the best for your store and It cant hurt to get your stock out to the odd people who want odd things!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I have my eye set on what looks to be a Serrasalmus Rhombeus (Black Piranha) In the opening credits. Doubt it is still there but heres to hoping!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I need to see that groundhog I saw on the top of the cabinet in the episode where the prankster was looking for ugly bugs. I grew up with a five-legged groundhog in my house as a kid, which I swear had to be fake... a bad fake at that. Don't know what happened to it, my Mom sold a lot of that stuff at yard sales and swap meets.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Can't wait! Will you ship to Canada? Please say yes.

    ReplyDelete
  37. PLEASE PLEASE open sales on-line!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Really awesome! I'm always looking for old medical litho's!

    ReplyDelete
  39. There is no shop here, in Canada that sells anything nearly as amazing as some of the treasures you folk have.
    Please ship to Canada!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Your show inspires me and lets me know that as a collector of oddities I am rather normal by comparison.

    ReplyDelete
  41. This sounds awesome. I just discovered your show and I dashed online in hopes to see what you had for sale. Cannot wait.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I would visit your store often...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah I keep seeing a Sword/Saber/Cutlass during the show. If it is early 1700 to revolutionary I would be interested. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I can't wait till the online shopping comes online. I'm sure the offerings ( or should I say items) are sure to be fantastic. I also hope that you will be interested in purchases from collectors the world over to offer us also. I'll keep my eye open, so to speak, for things that are different, unreal, and just plain odd LOLOL.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I love your show and plan to visit your shop this summer. I am however concerned about some of your animal items. If a conjoined calf is born, dies and is preserved, I think that's cool! Or the inner ear bones of a whale wash up on shore, I'd love to have that! However if a baboon is killed for a leg lamp or a sloth is killed and stuffed for a collector, I have an ethical problem with that. I also worry it will create a supply/demand situation where animal parts will be obtained by killing animals, when viewers see how much money they can get. Can you address this issue? Thanks!

  46. Love the show. There are several things I would buy in a heartbeat

  47. I just found Oddities a few weeks ago. I've been catching up on all the shows I can. My cable provider is having a kind of marathon on Memorial Day weekend, so I've set my DVR to record everything I've not yet seen. Love the show! Amazing stuff and amazing people...

  48. Fabulous show. Fantastic store. Big fan. LOVE the facial expressions when someone totally takes you by surprise with a weirder-than-usual Weird.
Finish the online store. I'll be happy to blow paychecks on nifty, wicked little antiquities.

  49. I really hope guys post some amazing Rodent-ey stuff real or not AM SUCKER FOR THEM!

  50. So.. You first posted in Nov of 2010 that you were going to sell online. It's May 2011 and we're all still waiting? I think you're missing out on a LOT of sales.. what'da think?

  51. I love the gold and red robe that hangs behind the glass counter and the pin up girl glasses.
Here in Seattle we have the Ye Old Curiosity Shope. As a kid, I loved
going there with my parents. As an adult I love taking my kids. I've become very disappointed in it over the last several years though, because now the the place is filled with annoying tourist garbage.

    ReplyDelete
  52. PLEASE START SELLING ONLINE!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is great. There aren't any places close to me that live up to this standard. I am very excited.

    ReplyDelete
  54. saw your show for the 1st time tonight i want to come in there in the worst way im in pa cant wait till you have online sales!!! Edgar was sooo awsome i love him!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. If you people are seeing things your interested in on the show, have you not considered calling them to see if they will accept some sort of money order or something with extra for shipping to send it to you? It's money in their pockets, and they seem like nice people, I honestly can't see Mike or Evan saying no. Then again, not everyone is as they appear on TV, but it couldn't hurt to ask.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I can not wait until you start selling online! I am in the market for a taxidermy raven.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Excellent idea! I'm quite keen to get my hands on one of those bellybutton lint bears XD

  58. I am an absolute fan if your show and your store! If I ever get to NY from California your store will be a must to visit!!! So are you guys actively designing your online store? My husband and I do websites for a living. Our company is Red zebra media Inc. And we could really do something awesome!!! Maybe in trade! Can't wait to shop and get my very own oddity. By the way, does Ryan do custom work? I'd love to send him the skeleton of my beloved cat Mocha to rearticulate! He does amazing work!!!! Fan for life! Dawn LaPolla

  59. Mike and Evan,
Your wonderful new show helps fill a growing hunger in our modern over-sanitized America. Shedding a small ray of light on these unusual personalities and their passion for “weird” and “surprisingly real”. We need more access to the curiosities and mysteries that interesting people create and indulge. I am hungry for new glimpses of those wonderful oddities that walk into your shop.

    ReplyDelete
  60. when will the online store be up and running????? i can't wait i'm trying to find a way from california to you guys to come see the shop but a website to buy from would help for now since i can't get there or find any oddity type stores here in california

    ReplyDelete
  61. I can't wait - when can I start shopping?? My Ol' Man is dreading this, he isnt into the same Macabre things as I, nor is he going to like the damage that online, Oddities may bring to the checking account - Wuahaha!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Finally... An on line store that actually understands my needs. Sourcing directly from Obscura; that’s so sick and so great. All those wonderful items can now be had. I’m sure my collection will become the envy of all of my lovely strange and eccentric friends. Love it!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Please don't ever sell on-line, in fact, please close the actual store, destroy all of the items and submit to religous purification. (do you think the reverse psychology worked?) I understand taking your time...Rome wasn't build in a day....but, damn, I bet if they started at the same time you announced an on-line store coming soon, it would be a Vegas-like destination spot by now!!! Get on it! We are sick of having to harvest our own freak anatomy!

  64. There goes my paycheque. By the way I have my eye on that taxidermied crow... I can't reach it from British Columbia, though.

  83. Any updates on when the online catalog will be available? I live in Shreveport, LA & I only wish citizens that lived in my area had anything like what I have seen on every episode of Oddities. Thanks for sharing all the history & knowledge with those who would have probably never received it otherwise. Thanks & please keep up the excellent work!

  84. This was posted about two years ago , any progress with the online store? lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hi I have a very valid question. Is there any new posts on here from 2012? Last one I have seen was in 2010 if this is true, the site feels a bit abandoned. I see the new shows on and think your shop is still open, but like I have said, no updates, or replies recently? Oh and still wondering, online sales?

    ReplyDelete
  86. Were you just kidding about the online shop? Please let us know either way. I've been saving up some money for some weird stuff since 2010 and it's starting to burn a hole in my pocket. I keep checking back but it looks like maybe you've abandoned the idea putting the shop online.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Would LOVE to see an online shop since I can't get to New York. Please, Please, Please make it happen - sooner than later. Love you guys.

  92. How Lemeridian funding service  grant me a loan!!!

Hello everyone, I'm Lea Paige Matteo from Zurich Switzerland and want to use this medium to express gratitude to lemeridian funding service for fulfilling his promise by granting me a loan, I was stuck in a financial situation and needed to refinance and pay my bills as well as start up a Business. I tried seeking for loans from various loan firms both private and corporate organisations but never succeeded and most banks declined my credit request. But as God would have it, I was introduced by a friend named Lisa Rice to Le_meridian funding service and undergone the due process of obtaining a loan from the company, to my greatest surprise within 48hrs just like my friend Lisa, I was also granted a loan of $216,000.00 So my advise to everyone who desires a loan, "if you must contact any firm with reference to securing a loan online with low interest rate of 1.9% and better repayment plans/schedule, please contact Le_meridian funding service. Besides, he doesn't know that am doing this but due to the joy in me, I'm so happy and wish to let people know more about this great company whom truly give out loans, it is my prayer that GOD should bless them more as they put smiles on peoples faces. You can contact them via email on {lfdsloans@lemeridianfds.com Or lfdsloans@outlook.com} or Text through Whatsapp +1-989 394 3740.
