  3. Just a note, your employee had the straight jacket on backward. The opening goes in the back. There should also be a strap that comes up between the legs and is attached in the back.

  4. Believe it or not.....the straight jacket was not backwards. Its called a Melrose straight jacket. "This Melrose brand straitjacket a common jacket from about the 1960s or so. It buckles in the front, has side loops for the arms and fastens with slider buckles." Its a bit of an anomaly as most of these things are buckled n the back and have a strap that goes between the legs. For whatever reason, these jackets dont.

  6. I really enjoyed the show and felt very at home virtually in your shop. I too had a kitty mummy when I was young. I enjoyed her very much until she got wet. Not so much fun after that.

  8. I love your show, it's so entertaining!!!!! I truly enjoy collecting weird, off the wall things; as well as make some. I hope to visit New York soon and can't wait to stop by your shop, but for now I'll watch ya from California. Thank you for having a store that is accommodating to the curious kind. Keep up the good work. :D

  9. I too am very intrigued by Laura(The customer). I heard that she has a clothing line as well. I am wondering if she has a website or a way to view her line. I am in the Military and will be leaving for Afghanistan soon and would like a way to correspond with her. This is my 4th deployment and I have found that there is a bunch of inspiration to be found there. If I could correspond with her or her shop while I am gone that would be wonderful. I could send photos and write the stories that go along with them. If at all interested my emails are, joshua.wolfe@us.army.mil or joshuawolfe10@gmail.com so that I can communicate that way. If no one is interested I would like some kind of response either way.

    Thank You,
    Joshua Wolfe

  10. After seeing just one episode I am an instant fan of the show. Everything and everyone is interesting and eclectic, but one piece I saw briefly in an episode caught my attention immediately, and I'd like to ask about it.

I believe it belonged to one your patrons or local experts you defer to - a tattooed wild boar or warthog skull. The image of it was absolutely striking. If you know what I'm referring to, I would love any information, pictures or history of it.

  11. Such a fan! The hubs and I are constantly quoting lines from the show. "Cow for a kitty, Kitty for a cow, let's do this" and the grandest line...."is that a straight jacket?" haha!
    You guys are awesome!

  15. Is the guy that bought the straight jacket supposed to be imitating Lon Chaney? (I think thats the 50's horror movie actor I'm thinking of.) What a freak...

Stop moving around & NO it's not aired any other time or day i can find. I will try & keep my eyeballs open for that 2 headed cow for a kitty, a cow for a kitty a kitty for a cow. It was hillarious. 20. I'm watching your marathon and noticed that while you took the mummys hand to your lawyer it looked like the paper weight on his desk was the whale ear bone from another episode. Am I right?

  21. Nice post. I study one thing more challenging on different blogs everyday. It would at all times be stimulating to read content material from other writers and follow a bit something from their store. I'd want to make use of some with the content on my weblog whether or not you don't mind. Natually I'll provide you with a link in your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.
